Primavera Sound all around the world: experience the festival at home

A new edition of Primavera Sound is here - the eighteenth already. And although the best way to experience the festival is to be there with the thousands of fans who get together in Barcelona during these days, it is also possible to experience Primavera Sound from the comfort of your own home, be it just a few meters away or from thousands of miles away. Here are some of the options:  
 
RELIVE PRIMAVERA
 
The most complete coverage of Primavera Sound will be through the broadcast by the festival itself with the support of SEAT. Connect to relive.primaverasound.barcelona from today to experience the festival from another point of view, with several hours of daily programmes that will include whole concerts, interviews with artists, a selection of the best moments from each day and a window onto everything that goes on behind the scenes at an event of this calibre. Every day and headed by our old friend Johann Wald, comes the best way to relive your favourite concerts or to see the ones you missed. APPLE MUSIC and BEATS 1
 
Beats 1Apple Music’s streaming radio, will be at Primavera Sound for the first time headed by the London DJ, Matt Wilkinson with a special designated space next to the Primavera with Apple Music stage, that will be visited by the most outstanding artists of the lineup. This means that, you will be able to listen to the best of Primavera Sound in the over 110 countries where Apple Music is available. Listen live for free, or on demand with an Apple Music subscription.
 
PITCHFORK
 
The most influential musical web in the world will be back at Primavera Sound with its usual stage as well as a new space located in Casa Primavera which will be visited, during most of the afternoon, by guest artists from the lineup such as CHVRCHESThundercatScott Devendorf of The NationalSlowdiveWaxahatchee and Oneohtrix Point Never doing DJ sessions or live interviews. This plateau with views of the sea will be the key location for the broadcast that will be available worldwide on Pitchfork’s website.
 
iCAT, NTS and RAI RADIO 2
 
For yet another year, radio stations from all over the world will also broadcast from Primavera Sound. These will include iCat, the Catalan public music radio station, that will celebrate its return to FM with a special programme from the Parc del Fòrum site that will include the broadcasting of some of its usual programmes live, concerts from the festival both live and retransmitted and extra contents about everything that is going on at the festival. This year will be the first time that the British radio station NTS is at the festival. Given its experience in electronic sounds of all types, it will focus on Primavera Bits, the area dedicated to dance, from where it will give an in-depth coverage on their online platform and social media.
 
Finally, Rai Radio 2 will be the Italian media partner at this year’s edition of Primavera Sound, with a programme broadcast from the festival itself headed by Carolina di Domenico and Pier Ferrantini and their show Rock and Roll Circus. Follow the live stream on the Rai Radio 2 website.
